Carlos just bought himself a brand-new car. It’s extremely pricey—big, shiny blue, and incredibly fast. As he cruises down the street, he notices a young woman riding a bicycle. She’s stunning, with long blonde hair flowing in the wind. Carlos calls out, “Hey there!” The girl doesn’t respond. He tries again, “How are you doing?” She keeps pedaling, ignoring him. Frustrated, Carlos shouts, “Why won’t you talk to me? Let’s go out to dinner! I’ll take you somewhere fancy.” The girl stops, hops off her bike, and faces him. “I’m not interested in dinner,” she says. “But if you hand me your car, I’ll give you a surprise.” Without thinking twice, Carlos agrees. He jumps out, tosses her the keys, and says, “It’s all yours.” The beautiful blonde smiles, kisses him lightly on the cheek, then slides into the driver’s seat and speeds away. Carlos is left standing on the sidewalk—no car, no girl. He mutters, “That’s it? Just a kiss?” With nothing else to do, he climbs onto her bicycle and pedals back home.
