Listening

It was early morning at the international airport. Maria had just arrived in a new country for her vacation. As she walked toward the immigration counter, she felt a little nervous. The immigration officer greeted her politely and asked to see her passport. Maria handed it over quickly. The officer then asked, 'Do you have a visa for your stay?' Maria nodded and showed the printed visa confirmation she had prepared in advance. The officer checked the details carefully and continued with more questions: 'How long will you stay in our country? Where will you stay?' Maria replied clearly that she would stay for two weeks in a hotel in the city center. The officer also asked if she had a return ticket. Maria smiled and gave him the printed ticket. After checking everything, the officer stamped her passport and said, 'Welcome to our country. Enjoy your stay!' Maria felt relieved and happy as she walked out of the immigration area, ready to start her holiday adventure.
