If I were a giant, I wouldn’t be able to fit in my house.

अगर मैं एक विशालकाय होता, तो मैं अपने घर में फिट नहीं हो पाता। मुझे एक ऐसी इमारत में रहना पड़ता जिसकी छत ऊंची होती, लेकिन मुझे शायद दरवाजे से निकलने में मुश्किल होती। मुझे अपने कपड़े खुद बनाने पड़ते, लेकिन मुझे सिलने के लिए विशालकाय सुई और धागा कहाँ से मिलता? मैं कार या हवाई जहाज में नहीं चढ़ पाता। मुझे लगता है कि मुझे एक जगह से दूसरी जगह जाने के लिए विशालकाय कदम उठाने पड़ते। मुझे बहुत सावधान रहना पड़ता कि मैं किसी पर या किसी चीज़ पर कदम न रखूँ। जब मैं बात करता, तो लोग अपने कान ढक लेते। मेरी आवाज़ उन्हें बहुत तेज़ सुनाई देती। मुझे अपने पैरों को ढकने के लिए जूते नहीं मिलते। मुझे अपना रात का खाना खाने के लिए चाकू और कांटा नहीं मिलता। मुझे शायद कांटे के रूप में रेक का इस्तेमाल करना पड़ता। मेरा रात का खाना बहुत बड़ा होता। मैं अपना खाना किसमें पकाता? मुझे निश्चित रूप से इतना बड़ा ओवन नहीं मिलता जिसमें मैं अपना खाना डाल सकूँ। अगर मुझे छींक आती, तो यह एक तूफान की तरह होता। अगर मैं गिर जाता, तो यह एक भूकंप की तरह होता। मेरे कोई दोस्त नहीं होते क्योंकि हर कोई मुझसे बात करने के लिए बहुत छोटा होता। मुझे लगता है कि एक विशालकाय होना बहुत अकेलापन होगा। मैं सिर्फ एक सेब नहीं खा सकता था। मुझे अपना पेट भरने के लिए बहुत सारे सेब खाने पड़ते। मुझे अपनी प्यास बुझाने के लिए गैलन और गैलन पानी पीना पड़ता। मैं कभी भी किसी पेड़ के नीचे आराम नहीं कर पाता। मैं सभी पेड़ों से लंबा होता। मुझे नहीं लगता कि एक विशालकाय होना मजेदार होगा। मैं कभी भी विशालकाय बनने की इच्छा नहीं करूंगा। मैं अपनी ऊंचाई पर ही खुश हूँ। मैं जैसा हूँ उससे बहुत खुश हूँ।
