Exchanging Money at the Currency Exchange Office

Subtitle
It was a sunny afternoon in Hanoi. David, a tourist from Canada, had just arrived and realized he needed some Vietnamese dong for his trip. He walked into a currency exchange office near the Old Quarter. A friendly staff member greeted him with a smile. David asked, 'Hello, could you please tell me the exchange rate for US dollars to Vietnamese dong today?' The staff replied, 'Of course. Today, one US dollar is equal to twenty-four thousand Vietnamese dong.' David nodded and took out three hundred US dollars. He said, 'I would like to exchange three hundred dollars, please.' The staff carefully counted the money and gave David a receipt. She explained, 'After the exchange, you will receive seven million two hundred thousand dong. Please count it to make sure it’s correct.' David counted the notes and smiled, 'Yes, it’s correct. Thank you very much.' The staff added, 'You’re welcome! If you need to exchange money again, feel free to come back anytime.' Feeling relieved, David put the cash into his wallet and stepped out, ready to enjoy his journey through Vietnam.
