Emma smiled, walked over, and said, “Hi, I’m Emma. I just moved to this area last month.” The woman replied warmly, “Nice to meet you, Emma. I’m Sarah. I’ve lived here for three years.” They began talking about their jobs. Emma shared that she was a graphic designer working remotely, while Sarah mentioned she was a teacher at the local school. Emma asked Sarah for recommendations about good cafes nearby. Sarah happily gave her a list of places to try and even invited Emma to a weekend book club. Emma felt happy because introducing herself turned into making a new friend.
